Fan K'uan was a traditional artist, inspired by the works of Ching Hao and Li Ch'eng. In his later years, me moved to the T'ai Hua mountains and replicated the beautiful landscapes in his many works. This piece displays lush mountains overshadowing a group of travelers, with great depth and detail.
